Hard core, yoga follower Kareena Kapoor is said to perform 100 Suryanamsakar every day. This ancient Indian exercise and meditation technique not only helps to maintain a perfect body posture but also improves concentration and mental health. Certain yoga postures are very beneficial for having a toned body, weight loss, digestion (intestine immunity) and flexibility. This is why, famous female celebrities such as Mallaika Arora, Lara Dutta, etc., strongly promote yoga.
The coconut water magic
Coconut water is rich in several vitamins and minerals. Also, it has very less calories and its daily consumption stimulates quick weight loss which makes it a favourite drink among celebrities. It is not only healthy for your body but also is helpful for beautiful skin and hair. Celebs like Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor start their day with coconut water while Deepika states that coconut water is a magical drink for her. It also increases your body’s metabolism and facilitates in producing new energy cells.
Fat burning through cardio
Almost all top bollywood actresses do cardio to maintain their fitness level. Cardio is a great way to lose fat and if done regularly, it strengthens the muscles and increases stamina too. Depending upon the schedule, diet etc., thse cardio time may vary from one actress to other. Be it Priyanka Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez or Katrina Kaif, all of these celebrities involve cardio in their fitness plans.
It is a new concept which is inspired from Yoga. In pilates, stretching and body postures are very similar to that of yoga but the former one makes use of certain object such as a big circle ring, small balls ,soft rollers etc. The idea behind using such object is to make exercise more fun and interesting. Sonam Kapoor is a Pilates fan and does it every evening approximately for 45 minutes on regular basis. Even Susmita Sen and Mallaika Arora are often seen uploading their Pilates session videos on their social media accounts.
Sports and weight loss
Bollywood celebs always find fun ways of exercising and apart from standard exercise types; they also involve in sports activities. Every celebrity is fond of some or the other sport and involvement in sports is mainly out of personal choice rather than weight loss. Sonam kapoor loves to swim while Sonakshi Sinha chooses to cycle or play tennis. In order to keep leg muscles toned, Katrina Kaif also cycles twice a week. Deepika Padukone once said that she does not like to exercise at all but playing badminton is her all time favourite activity.

Celebs like Alia Bhatt and Vidya Balan strongly believe that junk food should be avoided and one should have healthy homemade food (depending upon diet plan). Almost all celebs include fresh veggies, healthy salads, and seasonal fruits in their diets. They also have meat and fish in appropriate quantities. Celebs often follow `low carb – high proteins’ diet. Bipasha Basu mainly depends on fish for her protein intake while Sonam kapoor relies on eggs for protein intake.
